Silver Fern Dew Ring/ White Gold
Inspired by the morning dew resting upon the fronds of the silver fern, this ring captures a moment of quiet beauty and renewal. A brilliant diamond sparkles among the fern’s graceful curves — like a drop of light at dawn.
The silver fern, known as ponga in te reo Maori, is a native tree fern of Aotearoa, distinguished by the soft silver undersides of its fronds. In moonlit darkness, these pale leaves catch the light, gently illuminating the path ahead.
For generations, Maori hunters placed fern fronds along their trails while gathering in the forest, creating a subtle guide to lead them safely home. Even today, this enduring practice is remembered as a symbol of guidance and return.
An enduring emblem of Aotearoa, the silver fern represents strength, growth, and a deep connection to home.
