Squirrel Necklace

In some cultures, the squirrel has been linked to Hermes and Mercury due to its nimble nature and ability to climb. In Norse mythology, the squirrel Ratatoskr, translated as Drill-Tooth, is a messenger who travels from a tree at the bottom of the world, to its summit.

Squirrels accidentally contribute to more trees in forests. They often forget nuts and seeds they bury, which results in new trees.
